ESOL Adjunct Assistant Professor, MCC

I have been teaching college level English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) since 2013. I spent one summer (many years ago) teaching English in Lviv, Ukraine. My second language is Italian, and I spend as much time as I can visiting family in the beautiful city of Rome, Italy. My expertise includes developing online, hybrid and remote curriculum. My educational philosophy is based on the idea that my students and I are co-creators of knowledge--we all bring something to the table and work toward common objectives. I may lead, at times, as a subject-matter expert, but I am not the leader. My classroom, whether in person or online, is a community of learners (myself included) where we support and validate each other.
